At Safe Sprouts, we have have purchased (and often broken) the phones, the iPads, and music players we recommend.
Once we identified excellent products, we partnered with suppliers to resell them. The goal is not to make money but to shorten lead times and be a single stop for returns and repairs.
Minimalist phones, for example, often have 2-6 week lead times for sales and even longer than that when you need repairs. That’s not OK when you and your kids rely on phones every day. So, we purchase in bulk to have stock available and connections to the manufacturers for repairs.
